Interesting news in my inbox this morning, TD have bought The Search Works for £56 million.

"We have expanded our digital marketing portfolio into the search market with the acquisition of The Search Works, the UK's largest search engine marketing company and its sister company The Technology Works, a technology provider whose products include 'BidBuddy®' - a search management technology."
"There are great synergies between our businesses in terms of product and service offerings and the acquisition also provides the opportunity for us to asses the roll out of our products across Asia thanks to The Technology Works' established foothold in the region."

Not sure what the short term impact will be, but longer term there are some complementing services both companies can take advantage of.
