After my PC spazzed out for the nth time a couple of days ago and decided that running iTunes and Photoshop was all a bit much so it would restart in the hope I'd leave it alone, I decided I'm going to switch.
Not too much of a radical step, given it will only (to begin with at least) influence my next laptop purchase - my trusty PC will still be sat at my desk, turning itself off and on to its heart's content - but one I've had to think pretty carefully about given the launch of Vista, and some of the awful purdy windows laptops around at the moment (yup, I can be easily swayed by shiny materials and pretty colours).
It basically came down to the OS - Vista has had mixed reviews and Tiger is pretty universally praised (with Leopard round the corner which is meant to be even better), and Tiger seems to handle the things I want to do often (iTunes, Photoshop, Dreamweaver) better in particular.
So, despite it not being a particularly original subject to blog about, I will be documenting my switch experience here over the next few weeks to let you know how I get on. Now to go spend all my money at apple.com...
